Alcohol USP (Ethanol, ETOH)

  • Antiseptic

Description:

  • Germicidal antiseptic

Indications:

  • Local skin anti-infective

  • Instrument antiseptic

  • Treatment of Delirium Tremors (DTs)

Contraindications:  

Precautions:

  • Pregnancy category D

  • Optimum concentration for antiseptic is 70% by weight.

  • Avoid contact with eyes.
