Dosage:
Administered
orally (tablets, solution)

Tablet:
2.5mg diphenoxylate/0.025mg atropine

Solution:
2.5mg diphenoxylate/0.025mg atropine per 5ml

Adult:
5mg (2 tablets) four times daily, taper dose as tolerated
-
Child:
0.3-0.4mg/kg daily in 4 divided doses
